HUGE WEEKEND FOR UCLA!!!

Post by jhopduck »

They have a gigantic class visiting this weekend. If memory serves Wheaton is there this weekend right now, I will double check.
Anyways Nick Abele commits. Great player
Billy Sanders decom's from the U to join UCLA
Marlon Pollard decom's from ND to join UCLA
Taniele Make decom's from Ariz to join UCLA

Boy Oh Boy New weasel is making friends in a hurry. And we thought CU's Hawkins was a slippery used car salesman.

Don't forget he already stole USC's prize TE earlier this year. Guess it helps they all can come in and play right away.

Most of the guys are already verbals, which is the case for most schools this weekend. But a very nice class and UCLA will be a force in the next few years.

Stanford's weekend is even bigger. They have a ridiculously good class (although if you take out their TEs, their class isn't that great).

It's all in the name, and in the recruiter I guess. UCLA hasn't done much for awhile now.

Weasel will get nailed again...and sooner than later. Stanfords classes will go down in talent because I dont see Harbaugh stayin there very long. I dont like Stoops(any of em) nor Carrol but I really cant stand Weasel...man was he the perfect fit at UW?? Only place better for him would be at the EWE.

Really not excited to see Weasel at it again, it'll always take him awhile to get caught and even without his dirty tricks he is still a great recruiter. As much as i hate him i have to give him credit where credit is due. I would hate to see (f)UCLA become good again

With the Weasel and UCLA recruiting well, Harbaugh and Stanford doing the same, Tedford and Cal always recruiting well, Mike Riley and Oregon State coming on the last couple of years, Oops and Arizona getting better, Erickson and ASU's ability. The PAC-10 could be the best conference the in the next few years. Sark might get Washington playing good again soon and who knows about Washington St. But will the PAC-10 beat up on eachother and not have any standout teams other than USC in a few years? I would rather have 1-2 really good teams (USC and Oregon) :P and all of the other teams be good but not so good the Ducks have a hard time beating them

I agree, the pac-10 is def on the rise while IMO the SEC seems to be in decline mode. Its always a scary thought when there are only one or two in conference games that you can mark down as 100% wins. This reminds me of basketball season either last year when the pac 10 was ridiculously strong, and all teams were hurt because of it (well at least until the tourney)

With how well they did against our defense this last year, it's not hard to imagine why....
