Iuta Tepa - 3 star DE from LB Poly (same school as Kenny Rowe) was a visitor this last weekend. I really hope we get this kid. He looks like a stud. Though he is a soft commit to Hawaii, I remember reading somewhere that we were the team to beat.
He is still slated for a visit to UCLA in two weeks so we've gotta watch out for the weasel.

On that note I do think we need another DE in this class. I believe that Taylor Hart will end up at DT after a redshirt year of bulking up. He is listed at 6'6", 255 lbs. I think he could easily be up near 300 by his sophomore year. So that leaves Anthony Anderson, who I think also will redshirt and need to bulk up as well to stay at end. We've got Zac Clark as a JUCO player so maybe he'll be able to step into the rotation next year. I know we are still hoping to at least get Sam Montgomery out here for a visit, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that one. I am not sure what the deal with Dequin Evans is. He seems to be to be a logical fit here because of the hole left by Nick Reed's absence. So as we stand right now, is Kenny Rowe going to stard at end next year? Or Brandon Bair? I have some major concerns about our D Line next year. I think that will definitely be our weakest unit on either side of the ball, unless there is an immediate impact from this recruiting class.

Re: Iuta Tepa
I think moving someone like Hart is very plausible. Especially if we don't end up landing a high school DT for this class, I'd expect us to move around some DE's to DT.SteelTown43 wrote:Iuta Tepa - 3 star DE from LB Poly (same school as Kenny Rowe) was a visitor this last weekend.
