4* LB Isaac Slade-Matautia visiting

Oregon has added 4* LB Isaac Slade-Matautia from St. Louis HS in HI to an already busy visitors' list in January. He only received an Oregon offer once Taggart came on board in December (likely due to him missing a large portion of the season due to a shoulder injury) but it sounds like he could commit to the Ducks shortly after the visit. At one time, he was strongly considering Colorado so having Leavitt is a big plus.

Man, Taggart and Leavitt are really making me realize how checked out our old staff seemed to be.

Even if he was injured much of the season, I'm not sure how he wasn't more of a priority. Taggart and Leavitt are having to initiate first contact with a lot of recruits that wanted Oregon offers/recruitment but were ultimately not deemed worthy enough by the previous staff.
