Get him out of the north, fine with me. I would love to nab him but if not anywhere but UW

We'll find out how lenient Petersen is with that LOL. I bet he lets it go since Marlon is their best recruit. I would love to see this happen lol. And some on 247 think it's very possible he does flip.

I doubt he visits Oregon, I think old staff blew it too much to get back in. Oh well, can't get them all.

He was never coming to Oregon. Family seems like they don't like the ducks

His coach hates the ducks. Why a kid and his family would listen to a HS coach is beyond me. after HS that coach won't be there to him or his family.

I doubt he visits Oregon, but I do think it's a possibility.

If he's headed to SC though, I doubt it's to mess around. He's from LA after all.

His HS coach's son, Grant Hedrick, played at Boise State for Petersen, which is why he's more pro-Petersen/UW than really anti-Oregon.

Head coach is Shane Hedrick, Grant's brother. And yes, Marlon was steered towards UW.

Everything I'm finding about Grant says Shane is his father and the HC at Central.

I stand corrected - also I misread your original post - thought you were saying that Grant was the HC. My mistake.

Lot of chatter on the USC site that makes this look like it really is happening. Marlon cancelled an in-home visit from WA. They are saying Marlon wants to enroll there early. As much as I love UW getting screwed, I'm a little scared to hear that Marlon T. and Tufele may end up at USC. The Trojans are also claiming DJ Johnson wants in too. Sure, it's all homer talk, but sounds pretty real to me.

I'd rather him go to USC than Washington.

I'd rather him to go USC than uw, as well. To boot, USC's defensive line really never frightens anyone. Even though the entire 2-deep are 4* and 5* players, they needed a 5th year transfer from Utah who would've been second string there just to be decent this season.
