Talked with coach Leavitt and Willie tonight

Post by Diehardduckfan »

I spoke with coach Leavitt and coach Taggart tonight a few minutes each about how things were going this weekend. Asked Leavitt if there were any commitments from the visitors tonight and he said "oh yeah" then seriously no joke cut in front of a bunch of people to get a Pepsi refill and then continued talking with me. Both extremely nice guys.

I'm starting to think this Pepsi stuff has to be some kind of joke. Nobody is this obsessed about a soft drink. Please tell me nobody is this obsessed about a soft drink.

He knows it's a Schtick but at the same time, I could tell he genuinely is addicted to Pepsi, as soon as his lid was on he was guzzling it. The guy seems to be 100mph type of guy. I told him he is going to get diabetes. He laughed and said I am not the first person to tell him that.

Also to be fair Coach Leavitt did say "excuse me" when he cut in front of a bunch of people.

All the coaches seemed really excited. Got a chance to shoot the breeze with all of them but big joe. Cristbal was working the phone like a boss! I say Gibson is all duck. Dude was having so much fun

Was Reaves there? I'm curious as to who the other "adult passenger" was. It's really too bad that Willie T is having to deal with something like this a week before NSD.

Does Leavitt prefer regular Pepsi to the real sugar throwback version?

The real sugar is obvi 10x better in all soda.

I know, which is why I'd hope Leavitt feels the same. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable having someone who preferred HFCS leading the defense.
