Thursday Night Bowling

I have bowled league on thursday nights for like seven years now on Hwy. 99 Strike City and am a huge duck fan. Tonight what seemed to be the entire ducks men basketball team showed up at our bowling alley. Our entire league was starstruck. I have long thought that our league night is the best party night and was glad they showed up on a thursday night. Even got to talk to Catron and Dunnigan a little bit and wished them good luck this year.

It was cool to see them out having a good time bowling!

Back in the late 90s the basketball team used to come to Southtowne Lanes off Willamette all the time. I used to own the pro shop back then and me and my cousin would chat with them all the time. I miss back then

I think it is a tradition. Back when Aaron Brooks was playing he would always bring a few players out to $1 Tuesdays and Thursdays at Timber bowl. Eventually we started talking my friend got his number and we were bowling with him nearly every week. And the guy is amazing at bowling. Bowled over 200 nearly every game! even got over 250 once! I was like come on! Basketball and bowling! you got to be kidding me!

For some reason, it seems like basketball players like bowling and are good at it. I remember seeing Chris Paul on like ESPN showing off his customized bowling balls and shoes and then bowling over a 200 at his charity event.
