i read somebody said 7 spots left I think, maybe six and with Ezeike probably announcing tomorrow there will be six spots left. I wonder how many wr's they take if Hall, Waddle, Cota and Williams are want to come.

I've heard that 30 number too. I'd imagine there's a spot for Sewell. Who else? Going to be interesting.

Tough question, I’ve been wondering this myself. If we assume there are 6 spots left it’s going to get real interesting. I am basing this off the fact that Ezekie is all but signed and sealed like the rest of the commits.
Based on the names that come up most/most recently this is a list of who’s likely still on the board:
Jashaun Corbin
Devon Williams
Jalen Hall
Jaylen Waddle
Chase Cota
Isaah Crocker
Penei Sewell
Sam Taimani
Tyreke Smith
Bryant Pirtle
Solomon Tuliaupupu
Eli’jah Winston
Kalon Gervin
Haki Woods
Talanoa Hufanga
Marquez Ezzard
Who do we take:
Jalen Hall
Chase Cota
Talanoa Hufanga
Penei Sewell and if not Sam Taimani
Marquez Ezzard
Isaah Crocker/Elijah Winston or Haki Woods/Bryant Pirtle
Who do I want:
Devon Williams
Jalen Hall
Jaylen Hall
Penei Sewell
Tyreke Smith
Talanoa Hufanga
EDIT: accidentally put Chase Cota/Solomon Tuliaupupu where I should have had Hufanga.

So you don't want to pick up Talanoa Huafanga in the final 6? Give me a Safety in this class over a WR 6 days a week and twice on Sundays.

For some reason I totally blanked out with him in the who do I want part. Cota and Solomon are the player I would replace with Hufanga. Thanks for catching it!Duck07 wrote:So you don't want to pick up Talanoa Huafanga in the final 6? Give me a Safety in this class over a WR 6 days a week and twice on Sundays.

Had me worried for a moment that something else might be going on with him. He seems like a Plug n Play guy from Day 1 for us in the back end.CanadianQuackers wrote:For some reason I totally blanked out with him in the who do I want part. Well we have had a few people leave the program over the course of the year. You would need to figure out how many scholarships we have right now and how many seniors there are. Off season attrition is also a guaranteed in today's college climate.
to take three more receivers just seems crazy to me, but I have never seen this much receiver talent interested in Oregon before.... we will have to become a pass happy offense to utilize all that talent.

Hope we close with Williams/Hafunga and a lineman or 2 on either side.

Hufanga got two cb's for Oregon today and Cota got one for us, it will be interesting to see how many more wr's they take.

How do you decide? You aren't going to tell Williams, Hall, waddle, Cota, Hufanga, no. The rb coming from Florida is a stud also doubt they would turn him away. And def aren't tell Sewell no if we are still in it for him. The coaches have a delema for sure but it's a good one.

We would have to tell one or 2 of the WRs no...dominos will begin to fall soon.brich75 wrote:How do you decide? You aren't going to tell Williams, Hall, waddle, Cota, Hufanga, no. I would not want to make that decision, off that list who do you tell no? Also that 4 star reciever that de committed from Florida St is coming. Imo you have to take Hall and Williams.Phenom wrote:We would have to tell one or 2 of the WRs no...dominos will begin to fall soon.brich75 wrote:How do you decide? Agreed, you have to take Hall and Williams. While I don’t like the idea of turning away an instate prospect I would say no to Cota. He’s a great player but Hall and Williams are both next level talents. It’s also hard to see how Taggart and Co. utilize receivers but we have more than enough big bodied wideouts in this class. It’s a shame because we are still very weak at the WR position.I would not want to make that decision, off that list who do you tell no? I would take waddle over Cota as well. He is electrifying kid is a 1 man highlight reel!CanadianQuackers wrote:Agreed, you have to take Hall and Williams.
