stop coach Woodie and Pimpleton from seeing recruits?
They are gone! Why would Oregon allow them to recruit (mostly on the east coast right now) when we all know they will be leaving.
At what point do the Ducks

Well they’re not gone and there are some very speculative rumours that Pimpleton may have been offended by Taggart for departing. He also loves it in Eugene as well and FSU may put pressure on Taggart to not bring his entire staff. There’s been one mention I’ve seen that suggests Pimpleton may not even have a spot at FSU.

And Woodie?
Didn't taggart introduce pimpleton to his wife or vice versa? I would be surprised if he doesn't get an invitation to the party.

Woodie is the one who seems most likely gone. Pimp might actually be higher up on staying than Jim's chances are. I'm hoping that by staying for the bowl game Jim will decided that another lateral move doesn't do him or his family anything extra. Plus with the likelihood that Jelks and Dye are Top 50 players in next years draft, it'd also look good for him going to take over a program having notable draftee's.jimmy12 wrote:And Woodie?

I did think it was interesting how Pimpleton was one of the first coaches Mario brought up. Woodie was the last one, but it might just mean that he was going in order. Woodie Jr. seemed impressed with the hire.

Pimp has been with Taggart since they played football together at WKU. He's going with Taggart, and has known Taggart was going to FSU for a long time. It's pretty simple really.

He did go in order from Off to Def but the way he said Woodie was a quick. It's more than possible that had little willie not left, all the coaches would have been fine staying in their respective positions. Really makes me wonder what the pitch from little willie was to the coaches last year; Mario certainly was sold on the idea of coming out to Eugene.Phenom wrote:I did think it was interesting how Pimpleton was one of the first coaches Mario brought up. Other tidbits, don't play Mama Cristobal in Dominoes and expect to keep your coins and we might need to get a Smoothie King franchise out in Eugene for Mario
