Well, that stinks.

Thankfully, it's not a last minute decision leaving us in the lurch. I'm sure there are some other great options out there. Hopefully, we can get a strong fallback option to join the flock!

Was known for a few days now.

We're stacked on the OL, not worried about that.

Defensive line, especially on the interior replacing FatMac, is where we really need to boost recruiting. Also linebacker if Funa does plan to go on that LDS mission.

Oregon will be needing to replace 6 OL after this season so with weak West Coast OL class this year, losing him to UW is not ideal. Unless Scott is seen as an early draft entry, they likely will get a 4th season out of him.

Not to be too negative but it feels like the recruiting isn’t up to par compared to last year, but it’s early and I’m confident they’ll turn it around. This is a tough loss though.

There's still a lot of time to pile up the commits. Last year we had the big push in the back half of June and into July. In fact we had 9 commits on 6/14/18, which is 2 fewer than we have today (with Benson's commitment). We're actually pacing ahead of last year.

We may see another commitment binge after the Saturday Night Live camp. This class may end up just as strong as last year.

Good to know, feels like a lot of 3 stars this year, but I’ll always trust the staff’s assessment of athletes over recruiting sites. Guess it’s not as bad as it seems, maybe losing DJ, Steele, and now Rosengarten kinda makes it feel that way.

Several of Oregon's 3 stars are likely going to get bumped up to 4 stars once the summer camp circuit ends so the class will look better soon.
