Hard to say, because I only know the Clif notes version of the Steele recruitment. Was he all-but-signed to USC before going to Florida, as Devon was for Oregon?

Aside- I wonder how all the players from Devon's class who thought he was a future Duck are feeling about this. Wonder if he's going to have to prove himself to those guys for spurning them 2 years ago.

As for current commits - I don’t think we lose Wilson or Hutson. But in the past few days there have been people changing their crystal balls on Elijhah Badger from Oregon to unclear.

No WR recruit should be scared of our depth chart. If someone is good enough to play, they’ll play. Who are our established guys returning in 2020? JJIII and Redd? Addison? Pittman if he comes back and plays well? Everything else is an unknown.

I think Williams is at least equal to Addison who’s currently starting. I personally think he’s better but that’s just opinion and speculation. He was still talented enough to get some snaps even with the deep receiving core At usc. He was a must take if we had room IMO and has higher upside than badger and will be a bit more seasoned coming in.

We will likely have: Addison,Pittman, Williams, Wilson, Johnson and Redd as our core with still waters wildlife and Delgado behind them. Just like our lb unit from last year to this year, I think it goes from one of our weakest positions to one of our deepest in one year.

Badger's best position is DB. If he's set on playing WR in college, I'm OK with letting him go elsewhere. Thought the same of Braden Lenzy.
