Typo by Woj, 2018, not 2008.

Wow. How can Penny be allowed to coach?

Re: Wiseman out at Memphis
Looks like their court date isn't until November 18th so he'll likely be playing against Oregon:

It's already ridiculous. As gogreen55 asked earlier, where's the heat on Penny for this? Wiseman playing or not is one thing. Penny paying for a recruit's move seems like a major violation.woundedknees wrote:This could get... interesting.

What a joke. If he plays against the Ducks, hopefully it has the same outcome as when the Ducks encountered the Deandre Ayton/Sean Miller farce.

Re: Wiseman out at Memphis
Shouldn't be a problem, Wiseman was just being reimbursed for the use of his image.

I want signs at The Moda: "Hey, Penny, Can you help me move?"gogreen55 wrote:What a joke. If he plays against the Ducks, hopefully it has the same outcome as when the Ducks encountered the Deandre Ayton/Sean Miller farce.

Re: Wiseman out at Memphis
He paid for his move while Penny was a high school coach, and prior to Wiseman’s senior year. That’s what makes this an interesting case.Merganzer wrote:It's already ridiculous. Will it be interesting? Or will it all be resolved in a couple of days?droop10 wrote:He paid for his move while Penny was a high school coach, and prior to Wiseman’s senior year. Re: Wiseman out at Memphis
I don’t think there’s a precedent for this, so I think it’ll drag out a bit. The NCAA doesn’t do anything in a hasty manner, as we’ve seen with the Dante situation. He’s already cleared by a court injunction to play tonight. We’ll see how it plays out.Merganzer wrote:Will it be interesting?
