Local Players

Post by ducksfosho »

I have been to quite a few local high schools games and have seen the Top players, Lylerla, Scarlett, White, Owa etc etc. But, I was curious about the ones who have not got national attention, but are some of the best players I've seen. What are the chances Oregon gets some good local talent.

Daniel Keel: S/WR much better safety I think. He is FAST and can hit. I saw some huge hits from this kid. Every time he touches the ball, you wonder what's going to happen. He can go the distance

Kenneth Acker: Corner/ Quarterback Not sure if we need him, but he is a great athlete in my opinion. He can score every time he touches the ball.

Heard through the grapevine that Keel's teammate, Doug Saeks: OT. is getting letters and talking to Oregon, any truth?

Yeah I've seen Acker play and he's really special.

I think he would be really effective as a corner or safety in college. I think he's Div1a type talent, but I bet he ends up at PSU or something like that. Maybe OSU will offer

Acker is probably the best Senior athlete in the state. I've seen him and Lowe several times and Acker is better. Seems to make a play everytime he touches the ball. He's been offered by Idaho and a good source told me Boise St. will too. My money would be on him ending up a Bronco. Wish the Ducks would give him a harder look.

The Saeks twins are big but SLOW. I'd guess PSU level for them. Keel's good too. Probably the same for him, though he may be an OSU fall back in state type.

The Saeks twins are at Westview with Keel. I think Keel deserves D-1 he will be a special player IMHO with the right coaching. Just my two cents though, what do I know?

Go Ducks!
