Re: Concordia @ Oregon (Preseason) Thread
I can't believe the season is here. Anyway, I think 3 huge keys for the ducks this season are:
1. Defense. They have been very soft in the past.
2. Finding a go to player late in games. As we have found out, Porter wasn't it last season.
3. Inside game. Oregon needs more consistent production from Dunigan.

Jamil is a pest on defense. Long arms and he just won't leave you alone, he is gonna be good. he missed a Three, followed it, but Concordia got the rebound. Jamil, seeing as how he was right there, decided to pressure the guy and the guy fell backwards, but managed to get it up court to another player while falling, so Jamil ran up to him, and pressured him, got help and they forced a turnover. He just won't stop......

Just looking at the box score, it looked like Wilson played really well. Hopefully he will be our Lamichael James of basketball.

He is going to need to grab that starting PG position. If he doesn't, then the Ducks have no shot at finishing in the top half of the conference. I was hoping that the experiment of playing Porter at the PG position was over, but it is clearly not. Porter started at the point tonight again and managed to shoot 1-5 and turn the ball over 4 times. And that was against Concordia.
