It sure would have been nice to keep him in-state but sometimes they want to leave the state. Not really sure who else they're targeting at TE since it seems he was their main target. They can't really afford to not get TEs in consecutive classes.

Decent TE coming out of Summit (Bend) in 2024 I want to say who was just at UO recently. Can't recall his name off the top of my head.

Ducks making more TE offers today so it appears they had most of their eggs in getting Williams.

Agree with your reasoning. CMC has been recruiting him for a long time while at Oregon. Seems like he has a much stronger bond with that staff than our new one...
