Commits from the state of Washington:
Wazzu 3, OSU 3, Cal 2, UCLA 2, Oregon 1, Washington 0.
Ahfua and Platt aren't even considering Washington, and they are the only remaining top 5 Washington recruits uncommitted. You gotta be somewhat concerned if you're a Washington fan.

At least they can fall back on their academic prowess.

DaBoer strikes me more of a transfer portal guy, so I don’t think Washington has that much to worry about.

DeBoer is going to win plenty of games, but I think his lack of recruiting chops will leave him outside that national title discussion every year. That doesn't mean they can't beat Oregon, though. He's a great offensive coach and solid game week coach. Frankly, you could say a lot of the same things about Chip.

UW is basically going to be like OSU or Utah, lower on recruiting stars but good coaching/tacticians.

Idk about that. They got a lot of talent left to them, and Penix was really good before heading to UW. Without him, they are 6-6. And they have done nothing to replace the WRs who leave after this year

Agreed. DeBoer's best recruiting job was getting 3-5 NFL guys to come back this year. They'll be potent in 2023, but we'll see thereafter.buckmarkduck wrote:greenyellow wrote:UW is basically going to be like OSU or Utah, lower on recruiting stars but good coaching/tacticians.
