Miami #1 Booster Company Going Bankrupt

Post by DuckMastaFunk »

John Ruiz has been one of the most outspoken and high profile donors in the NIL Era, making huge deals with Miami athletes to LifeWallet (the company he owns). Now it looks like LifeWallet is headed for insolvency in the next 12 months.

This reminds me of the Cold War. Phil Knight is the US and John Ruiz is the USSR. There was an arms race and the USSR looked unstoppable, until the house of cards came crumbling down. :haha

Won’t be the first or the last. Players are going to have to understand the solvency of the companies paying them, or off they go. I am heartbroken for Mario.
