Bill Belichick is UNC's new HC

No one could have believed this a decade ago but North Carolina has hired 8-time Super Bowl winning coach Bill Belichick to be their new HC. He's got a three-year deal with the belief his son, UW DC Steve Belichick, will take over whenever he's done.

No way do I see this working. UNC fired 73 year old Mack Brown, who started there, went to Texas, then came back, with 72 year old, Belichick? The NFL didn't pick him up when he left New England. He's never coached college ball; Saban left the throne at Alabama because it was too much anymore, now Belichick is going to make it work?

The "Patriot Way" is going to work on 18–22-year-old kids? Lanning has shown what it takes to take over a program and turn it around, Belichick couldn't be more different, and UNC is a Basketball school!

He reportedly gave UNC a 400-page document outlining his vision, plan and requirements from the school and I think they're going to play great defense and boring offense. It will be interesting to see how well he does in the portal building up his own roster of players

Part of that 'vision' reportedly, is $20M for NIL (and possibly more coaching help). He could end up killing it in the portal.
