Down to Oregon, Arkansas, and Georgia Tech. Not a ton of offers but he’s rates highly.

Really have no clue where he's leaning but he'd be a big get with their needs in the frontcourt.

Arkansas fans seem very confident he'll pick them.

Probably no getting past Arkansas and their boost of NIL money. But i bet Altman would like to best Calipari by getting Sylla. I remember when Jamal Murray reclassified in 2015 and we were supposed to get him and then Calipari stepped in at the last minute. That one hurt.

He's the kind of player Calipari got at Kentucky.

He picked Georgia Tech. Imagine Oregon will be hitting the portal hard with how few HS guys they're connected to.

Seems like recruiting has taken a hit, maybe Altman isn’t interested in high school kids when there’s a low chance they’ll last beyond 1 year.

For sure he is less interested. 6 of out of our 9 guys who are getting double digit minutes per game are transfers. Only Bittle, Shelstad, and Evans are guys who came here as freshmen that are getting 10mpg or more.OregonFan4Life wrote: Fri Jan 17, 2025 9:52 am Seems like recruiting has taken a hit, maybe Altman isn’t interested in high school kids when there’s a low chance they’ll last beyond 1 year.
The fact that we mutually parted ways with Vyctorius Miller is evidence of us this too. He's a baller, but we didn't have minutes for him. I don't think Altman is abandoning high school recruiting, but he went from getting a 5 star basically every other year to having almost empty classes.
Our 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes have only ONE ranked commitment (Jamari Phillips). That is BARE.
