An old Pac-12 matchup between Oregon and Arizona for a chance at the Sweet 16.

They can certainly win the game but I think this is where most of us expect the season to end. Fingers crossed they can get the job done!

FWIW, Altman is 13-12 overall vs Arizona, 2-2 in the post season, 1 of the losses in the 2016-17 Pac-12 Championship Game, which they played without Boucher, who tore his ACL against Cal, the night before.

These refs are already doing everything they can to help Zona, this is going to be a very frustrating game in that ducks could pull away but these garbage officials will do everything they can to keep Zona in it.

This has to be the most inconsistent team under the Altman era.

ALTMAN GET IN THE EARS OF THESE OFFICIALS! Their bigs are HACKING and setting illegal screens like crazy meanwhile our bigs are getting called for any contact at all! Don’t go all Bobby Hurley but goodness Altman don’t let these refs get away with this piss poor officiating! They are literally elbowing and grabbing the jersey of our guards on screens and these dumb bald refs don’t know what they’re doing. If there’s one thing duck fans should agree on about Altman is he doesn’t get in the refs’ ears enough.

This second half is why I’ve been so critical of Altman insisting on starting Angel and Bittle together. If they’re not producing on offense those two bigs together are a huge liability, the rebounding and post defense with them together is really bad.

Bittle has been playing so well, but is flat on his feet tonight...Looking more like an observer than a player, up to this point...

I agree he’s off tonight and is in his own head, but I’m not surprised to see the post defense and rebounding suffer when Bittle and Angel are in together. There are two bigs that are offense first and when they go against any team with decent bigs this happens. There is a reason the team was doing much better when Evans was on the floor and it’s not that Evans is necessarily better than Angel but he matches better with Bittle while Angel matched better with Cook.

Ducks would be leading right now if they could hit their free throws…

Arizona is just simply a better team all around and a better coached team. Oregon needs to find a way to get a few stops if they want any chance but with how this game has gone that’s hard to see happening.

Does Supreme Cook know that he doesn’t have to shoot the ball every time he touches it? In fact of all the players that are in the rotation he’s probably the last one I want to see shoot it.

The rebounds have obviously been killer. Unfortunate though is that Arizona is an awful outside shooting team that is shooting over 50 percent from 3.
