2024 Win 11: Wisconsin

[OregonFan4Life]

Final game in a long stretch, and yet again it’s coming against a team coming off of a bye, but due to the quality of opponent I don’t think too many Duck fans were worried. Early on ducks seemed to move the ball well but mistakes kept them out of the endzone. After the 1st quarter or so it became apparent that fatigue would become an issue especially in the trenches and missing Jordan Burch. This game was a nail biter and Oregon ended the 3rd quarter with a 7 point deficit before we saw something unexpected, Oregon players celebrating Jump Around as if it’s their own tradition! You would’ve thought Oregon was up big in a blowout win, instead they needed a big 4th quarter to leave Madison and were still partying to Jump Around. Later in Ducks vs Them we saw that Lanning must’ve known his team needed it, cause with the game on the line and the team exhausted and in desperate need of a bye, they needed something to take some pressure and edge off and that was the perfect solution.

The ducks battled through and came back behind a James TD and some big plays by Matayo. For the first time ever, a team won 8 straight conference games, another memory to add to the 2024 Oregon season.
