The question for me, is will this be a shutout or not? Northwestern has one of the worst offenses in FBS.

Will the gate share from a 35K stadium and 1/2 share TV money cover the cost of this 2000 mile road trip?

If nothing else, will be a good test for travelling east two weeks before Penn State. 9 am start is the worst.

I think it's actually around 14,000 seats. But it looks sorta neatGrandpaDuck wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 1:02 pm Will the gate share from a 35K stadium and 1/2 share TV money cover the cost of this 2000 mile road trip?

Dang, injuries have been brutal to Oregon’s opponents early in the season.

Am I the only one super grateful we have an easy first road game to help break in our relatively inexperienced team?

Starting off conference play with an easy road game is a good thing with the unique venue a bonus.
This game & OSU should be easy enough to keep the play book very vanilla and if it were up to me (I'm sure you're glad it's not), I would install some wrinkles both offensively & defensively in the next two games, not necessarily gadgets or gimmicks, just things that are total red herrings that will force Penn St. to waste some time during their bye week preparing for.

Totally agree. They should also have a second half game plan/scheme vs Penn St that we can move to (something we haven't shown yet), disallowing them to make halftime adjustments (like tOSU did to us in the natty with their line blocking scheme, creating a runaway Zeke on almost every play...that was master class).duckpoint wrote: Tue Sep 09, 2025 12:28 pm Starting off conference play with an easy road game is a good thing with the unique venue a bonus.
