I find it funny this is happening while Crepea is dealing with his Twitter account being hacked and posting crypto scams.

If it were another line of business I would say they demoted him hoping he would quit (Providence is famous for this in the healthcare field). With a newspaper I assume they would just give you the chance to resign or fire you. Either way my money is on him leaving the paper in the next 6 months.

Ryan does some fantastic work and he's been solid on his sources in the past. It's a big promotion for him but I've no doubt he won't continue to do solid work and grow.

I agree, a huge downgrade. Was Dan and Crepea’s relationship toxic or was it just banter? Does a coach have the power to remove a press member?…. The president doesn’t.

I never paid much attention to Crepea, I just know he asked long winded loaded questions that were sometimes antagonistic to the program. Canzano 2.0? Is Oregon the only team that it's biggest voices in local media hates? Is that part of our unique culture? LOL.
