“Chip Kelly from Oregon will be here tomorrow to see Bjoern and he does love Oregon."
Sounds like he did visit BTW. I think he's ours to lose. His offer list is ridiculous for a 3 star..

Re: DT Werner
Are we sure this guy isn't a Mike and not a lineman with that speed. He grew up with football (soccer) in germany so its not like he doesn't know how to move/cover zones. Still, if he can stay on the line at the college level he could prove to be a fine rush end.

Re: DT Werner
That might be ideal for him but we NEED DTs in a bad way. Give him time to bulk up and he'd probably add weight to that 270.Zyme wrote:Are we sure this guy isn't a Mike and not a lineman with that speed. Re: DT Werner
He was definitely at the game but not with the recruits for some reason. He really enjoyed his visit. I am told that he has the frame to bulk up to 300 pounds. Definitely would be a tremendous pickup.Diehardduckfan wrote:He didn't visit during the game but on the weekend right?

Not sure if this has been posted yet but he just about shot to the top of my "I really wanna see this guy in green and yellow" list!!
May not quite be 270 but that 40 definatly looks legit.
Edit: also found his season stats on maxprep:

Re: DT Werner
And that was in 2007, playing in Germany. Since then he's played in the US. That's good news.shear_j wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKuFaLh_wvw
