Hearing Two Things On WR Coach
Tim Frost and Ryan Day...hearing that each one is leading from different sources and hearing that both are close to taking it. Sounds like its going to be either Tim Frost or Ryan Day.

I think I can answer my own question: I prefer Day.

I hope it is Day, but the fact he is supposedly the leading candidate for Boston College's open offensive coordinator position is a complication. Either way, I will just be happy that the Ducks get some of these positions filled and trust that Chip will make smart choices.

Yeah, that is good news. I didn't realize Boston College announced the hiring of their new offensive coordinator already on Saturday:cordy02c wrote:bc didn't hire him as oc

Hopefully this is an indication that Day is coming to Oregon.

Agreed, Day sounds like he could thrive at Oregon.duckgrad99 wrote:I think I can answer my own question: I prefer Day.

The only thing on Frost I've been able to find is I think he is an assistant offensive coach at Youngstown State (as of 2007). Really hard to find much info

That was the only thing I saw as well... Looks like a fairly inexperienced guy compared to Day.

Re: Hearing Two Things On WR Coach
Scott Frost (Former QB at Nebraska, locally famous for his 1997 "Flea Kicker" touchdown pass. His pass was kicked by Shevin Wiggins, straight into the waiting hands of Matt Davison, against Missouri.) the DC at University of Northern Iowa, was apparently being considered for the D-Line position some are expecting to go to Azzinaro... Some confusion, maybe?

Another reason I like Day: his name. A great combination with Phil Knight.
