Appears that we have another possible attention whore here....My god, if he cant make up his mind on this issue, how is he gonna be on the field in a split second situation....Well, I could throw.....or...I could run.....But then again, if I throw, I might be intercepted....Ooops, I got sacked again....WTF....
Its a no brainer.....Oregon has everything he could want or desire.....OSU couldnt win a bowl game if it was handed to em...And Clemson, well, arent they a BB school?

He has committed to two schools already so I am sure this time around he is just taking his time to make sure he gets it right. Of course in my opinion if he chooses Clemson or tOSU that would be the wrong decision, but who am I to say. 8-)

Ya, even I too recognize from the recent reports it's down to those 2. But really, truly I think this experience is still a positive. It was big for Oregon to get this constant exposure from an elite QB from Virginia. And I know this same sort of thing happened with Pryor, but IMO I think that's why Boyd latched on so quickly to Oregon, after watching the way Pryor's recruitment turned out, he knew to look at Oregon already. Which is why again, having this exposure will help.

Either way, Darron Thomas is already on board, and I think it's more of a NEED to get his replacement next year because he will start the 2011 and 2012 seasons and by that time could be the next Dixon. Plus, with the way Masoli will dominate next year, including a possible NC run, and with this exposure from Boyd, I fully expect NEXT YEAR to be the year when Oregon breaks through and signs the 5 star QB from across the country. Not that I have any knowledge of their being any potential prospects, but I think 2010 is the recruiting year that Oregon turns into a powerhouse and goes east coast. The lure of being Oregon's QB will be too hard to ignore for some high 4-5 star QB after watching Boyd say good things for almost 3 months now, and with Masoli and the offense balling next year. IMO.

I agree. From what I've seen, some kids for 2010 have already committed to the Ducks. Yes, they haven't signed any LOI's, but that's great. It bodes well for The O!! I would like for this whole circus to just end & we can get down to business. This QB stuff can't be fun for Darron Thomas either.

I would really like to see Boyd as a Duck but if he doesn't choose the Ducks we still have Masoli for two more years and Thomas, and with a good showing next year the Ducks can probably land a top 4-5* QB for next year's class.

Absolutely.....We all would love to see Boyd come to the Ducks, but, its hardly doomsday if he doesnt....
Many teams across the country would love to have the talent that we have at QB, at this time.....
Its gonna be very interesting to see how this all pans out. I am especially excited to see how the program might change with CK as HC......Good times are on the horizon.....

Exactly, Chip Kelly is going to take this program to the next level. Think about it, Oregon is already set for the next 4 years at QB with 2 more years of Masoli and 2 more of Thomas if things play out like they should (Thomas redshirting next year, no injuries to Masoli). By that time, some other stud QB will commit and we'll forget about Boyd, not that he's not a great player, but he's not nearly as important as a stud RB like Ethan Grant is to immediate success. I honestly think Thomas is just as good as Boyd anyways, if not better, and is already well acquainted with the offense and will possibly have 3 years of learning it before ever starting a game!

Yes indeed.....We never wanna intentionally chase away a player of Boyds talent level, but lets face it, we do have more pressing needs right now than another high quality QB....
Gotta love the attention that we are getting and name recognition though, no matter what he decides...It will just be refreshing when its all over and we can get back to the matters that truly matter...Yeah, I am talkin actual football season....

I wouldn't give up on Boyd just yet. There are too many insiders saying he's a duck for me to write him off. My hopes aren't high, but things could work out on Tuesday. Mops, Rivals, and the guys on Scout all like Boyd to Oregon. Maybe the quotes from Boyd and his family sounded worse than they actually are.
