Lache Seastrunk in Eugene

Post by hendrg »

According to DT, he's on an official visit right now.

Sweet. Might this be some 'good' news to come?

Well hot damn!
Didn't he already come on an official? Either way, its good he finally made it up. Can't wait to hear about it. Too bad most of the students are gone. Just show him a video of LMJ running through huge holes from this past season!

What are the other top schools we are competing with?
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

I cannot believe scout still shows him with no offer. Looks like sec or pac-10. Come on down Lache!!!! A trio of James, Williams and Seastrunk would be incredible.

Scout is the worst when it comes to recruiting updates. Rivals and now ESPN do a better job of getting up-to-date news.

Wasn't he here for the USC game? Either way it is great that he is out now. I would certainly be happy exchanging Grant for Seastrunk.

Due to some scheduling or flight problem he was unable to attend the USC game.

oh come on now, they all pretty much stink when it comes to database stuff. the recruiting updates are all pretty much the same. no matter how hard they work on the database, it's always going to be wrong. the worst thing about the databases are the "high, medium, low" things that they all have. they should have gotten rid of them years ago. it adds nothing but confusion. sometimes scout gets better info, sometimes rivals does and sometimes espn does. it all evens out over time.

Well he did make it, which is awesome for us. That's really all we could ask for, hopefully the visit blows him away.
