Seantrel Henderson: Rivals Junior of the Year

6'8" 301lb OT Seantrel Henderson from Minnesota was named the Rivals Junior of the Year award winner and has Oregon on his list of schools along with Ohio State, Florida State (no offer yet), UCLA, Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Florida as well as a few other schools. Good to see another top guy (will probably be a 5*) on Oregon's list!

With our running game & Greatwood being an award winning O-line coach, I would expect us to start getting some big time O-line prospects.

Not to be a downer but we have about a 0% chance with him. He is going to either Norte Dame or Minnesota.

It's not being a downer, it's being realistic, you are wrong on the percentage though it's actually -10% chance.duc_15 wrote:Not to be a downer but we have about a 0% chance with him. He is going to either Norte Dame or Minnesota.

I don't think he is a Oregon lock but if we are on his list it stand to reason that we have at least a 1% chance. After that it is up to the coaches to get any other possiblities. We have a better chance with him than we do with the ones who don't even know who we are.

Re: Seantrel Henderson: Rivals Junior of the Year
That was the point of my post. I don't think he will choose Oregon, he may not even visit, but just a few short years ago the Ducks wouldn't even be on the radar to top level talent in the middle of the country. I was pointing out how far the Ducks have come in recruiting in just the last couple of years, to already have one 4* guy from Florida commit and to have so many top guys from all over the country interested is crazy!

So if he is the top recruit next year, does that mean that we can look forward to him stringing us along beyond NLOI day?

That seems to be the case ... even with the top JUCO guys like Gaines
