I am looking forward to watching Brian play in the future. Hopefully by the time his career at Oregon is over he will have all of the teams in the SEC kicking themselves for not paying more attention to him.

I love it too. We need more players that have a passion for the game.

Brian is wired to tackle.

Not real impressed by him saying that they didn't win a state title because the offense wasn't very good...if it's true or not (and it was) that's not something you say in the media

Agreed with this. You can't throw your teammates under the bus like that. However, I really do like everything else this kid had to say though. He sounds like he really wants to be here and I'll be rooting for him to make his mark.

Will he play S or CB?

I'm excited about this guy but didn't one of our posters say this guy was overrated back when we were still recruiting him? I'd like to hear why he thought that!

BTW I like his attitude as long as he can back it up on the field!

That was me, but I didn't say he was over-rated, just that when I watched him play it seemed like something was missing in his game. Since then I've found out that he wasn't completely healthy last season. Either way the guy's a hitter...

“It wasn’t very hard to leave,” said Jackson, “I just found somewhere I wanted to go. It’s not an issue with my family. Regardless of where I go to college I will act the same. Oregon just happens to need a plane to reach it!”
Too bad some other recruits didn't have a similar philosophy. ;)
