Oregon @ Virginia
Fri, Dec 17 Virginia - at Charlottesville, Va. - John Paul Jones Arena 5:00 p.m.
Virginia is an underrated team, although they are 6-3, their schedule so far has been stacked. If Ducks could win this game, then I'll feel even more confident about this pac-10 schedule coming up.

Huge road test. The Cavs have already been bludgeoned by two Pac teams, let's make it 3 for 3.

I think this game will be the best indicator to see how well we will stack up in the Pac this year.

Not to be a dick about it, but I think every single Pac 10 game will be a better indicator than the game against Virginia.Boom wrote:I think this game will be the best indicator to see how well we will stack up in the Pac this year.
Unless you mean Calendar year. In that case, yeah!

Re: Oregon @ Virginia
4-2 Virginia, first media timeout.
To start the game: five jumpers, all misses. Catron finally gets a lay up to go in. Virginia: 6 jumpers, 2 makes.
Lots of outside shooting to start.

I'm actually in D.C. right now, but there's no way I would have made it to Charlottesville in time for the game.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

9-4 Ducks, Virginia takes a 30. A jumper by Sim, a trey by EJ, and a layup in transition by Teondre = nice little run by Oregon.

13-6 Ducks, second media TO. Short jumper by Jacob and a running lay in by Jay-R extends the lead to 7. 6/12 to start the game, not bad. We settled for jumpers early but we're working it inside and kicking out when necessary now. Virginia is just chuckin' jumpers.

17-14 Ducks, third media TO. Ducks went up 9 when Catron laid one in right after the previous TO, but the Cavs drilled two long treys to cut it down to three. Traded baskets after that. We're 1/7 from deep, blah. They haven't hit anything within 12 feet, I don't think. EXTEND THAT D!
