Everyone knew it was gonna happen. Maybe a small chance he comes to Eugene?

Doubt he will even get considered by the coaches.

If Randall doesn't qualify, its a possibility.

If he wants to come to Oregon, I would take him in a heartbeat.

If he were to transfer here, he's got his redshirt, plus 2 more years of eligibility. What's to say Thomas gets injured, and Bennett and Mariota aren't what they're made out to be? Never hurts to have depth, especially with ones that are proven.

What has he proven? He seems like the definition of a "me first" player. I would like to have as few of those players on the team as possible.

Chip won't want a QB who couldn't stay academically eligible. He wants someone who can set a good example, both on and off the field.

Denard Robinson may bolt from Michigan, as well.

http://www.detnews.com/article/20110112 ... t%E2%80%99

Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson didn't want to talk about his future on the day new head coach Brady Hoke passionately laid out his own.

The only effort Robinson showed was use of his 4.3-speed, to evade reporters eager to hear if Hoke's hiring would make him want to transfer.

Well he did take in Marcus Davis from UT. Anythings possible.

That's different since that involved a legal case that was eventually thrown out. This is a case of a QB who couldn't stay academically eligible and Chip is big on having his QBs be some of the smartest players on the team. Tate not being academically eligible shows that he doesn't take pride in all facets of his life.

His high school coach thinks he'll stay. Not sure how much that means though.

Evidently not... Hoke seems to think Robinson will stick around.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/stor ... NHeadlines

Michigan coach Brady Hoke said quarterback Denard Robinson will remain with the Wolverines after meeting with the star sophomore the past two days.

Hoke told ESPN.com on Thursday that Robinson, the 2010 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, is part of the Wolverines' future.

Asked if he expects Robinson to be with Michigan going forward, Hoke replied, "Yes. I don't question that at all."

I guess Hole plans on sticking with the spread then. Robinson wouldnt be a good QB to build a pro style offense around.
