Cal will be much more dangerous now, even if Tedford eliminates without the offensive coordinator.

That completes the shakeup of the Cal offensive coaches. Tedford also fired the WR coach and encouraged both the OL coach and Ludwig to look elsewhere. Receivers and OL will be coached by Eric Kiesau and Jim Michalczik respectively; both were with Tedford in his early days at Cal, when they were very successful.

Coupled with the recent recruiting success Cal could become very dangerous rather quickly.

I bet Tedford hires some NFL-type coach to fill Ludwig's position, but that they don't actually end up calling the plays. I think Tedford ends up calling the plays again.

The rumor/speculation I have seen is Michalczik will be named OC and Tedford will hire a QB coach. No idea who will call the plays.

This is actually awful news for Ducks fans.. Cal recruits the talent to be a really good football team, it's just a matter of getting the appropriate coaches. They should have snagged Gary Crowton. :/
