Nothing wrong with just a 3-game series.

I think 3 game series are usually fri/sat/sun. IE Mormons don't play on Sunday?

They celebrate the Sabbath on Sunday, instead of the typical Saturday for a lot of Christian and Jewish sects.

This is a really big series. Gotta get on the winning track before Pac-10 season, and the next two weekends (@ San Diego, Wichita State) won't be cakewalks. Really need to grind out some wins before we're playing top 15 teams almost every weekend.

Surprised that he's been one of the most consistent hitters, considering he's a true freshman.

6-2 Ducks, bot 8. Marder with a 2-RBI double, then got his hand stepped on and had to leave the game. Can't tell if it was a safety or suicide squeeze, but Hoffman scores from third on an Aaron Jones bunt single.

Anderson looks like he's done after 8, another incredible outing. 12 k's, only one run earned.
