UO has matched last years win total!
I know not much was expected, but it's great to see how much this team has accomplished this year under Altman with a lot less talent then we have last year. Now lets go out tomorrow and continue to play inspired ball.

Not something most us saw coming. Getting to some type of post-season tournament will be a real boon for this team in the future.

Really surprising how well this team has done this year. The future under Altman looks really bright.

Awesome! I really don't remember anyone picking anything over 12 wins for this team let alone fielding a group that was able to make the semi's in the Tourney. Next year's lineup doesn't look too shabby on the surface depending on how quickly Jabari adjusts so it will be real interesting to see how the guys develop over the summer with more time with DA.
Armstead/Barron
Brown/Sim/Kingma
Singler/Teondre
Nared/Kuemper
Jacob/?

Add in Devoe Joseph and you can move Singler to PF with Jacob at C.Duck07 wrote:Awesome! Joseph can't play until Dec, but don't be surprised to see him start, the kid is very good. In fact I've heard he has a shot at the NBA. The way we have played in the tourney I wouldn't be surprised to see Altman got smaller and start both Brown and Joseph together and like GY said start Ej at the 4.

A starting line-up of Armstead, Brown, Joseph, Singler, and Jacob would be tough for many teams to defend against.buckmarkduck wrote:Joseph can't play until Dec, but don't be surprised to see him start, the kid is very good. once again a Altman out coached a fellow conference coach. UCLA i think thought they could just walk through to the next round. Altman had them ready and if he isnt the coach of the year in the conference then it's a travesty. Altman turns out to be just what Oregon needed. The future looks to be bright for the basketball program.
I really love how this team plays with heart. They play so well together which we haven't seen for along time. Next year with the new recruits coming in we should be even better. Next year hopefully he can recruit a couple of big guys that can play. Then look out.

Throw in the fact that as a whole...the teams shooting will improve next year. Very nice.

Oregon should bring the baskets from the Staples Center back home if they continue shooting like they do on them.duckfan96 wrote:Throw in the fact that as a whole...the teams shooting will improve next year. Very nice.
