Looks like Kent may be in the running for the University of Wyoming job, considered by many to be one of the worst jobs in college basketball. I highly doubt that Kent would take a job like that.

Re: Kent to Wyoming?
I don't see how a coach whose only really strong suit is recruiting could possibly succeed at Wyoming. It's a lose-lose situation for both Kent and Wyoming.

Re: Kent to Wyoming?
That would make no sense for Ernie.
1. He'd have to live in Wyoming
2. He'd have to try to convince African American kids to live in Wyoming
3. They have mediocre facilities
4. The job wouldn't pay very well
Ernie will continue to work as a color commentator until a better job comes along. Utah would be a good fit for Ernie.

I could see Utah as a possibility but it sounds like they have others above Kent on their search list. I think we see Kent take over a team in another year or two.uostudent wrote:That would make no sense for Ernie.

Utah wants to get back to being the program they had under Majeras, they aren't hiring Kent.
