OS continues to impress...
Wow, if they are better than UO I would be shocked, Robinson is doing wonders up in Cornvalley
. They just lost to Montana 71-66.

Oregon Beavers will always be bad as long as they hire second rate coaches and
don't put any in any money to upgrade their sorry-ass program. I respect the baseball
and football programs, but Jay John and Craig Robinson were and are jokes.

Who was our coach though?cordy02c wrote:we lost to montana last year so there ya go but at least 2 of our losses are to real teams
Altman is doing a better job already than EK did the last 2 seasons, even though Altman has half the talent Ernie had.

They hired Robinson just to get some attention on their bball program. Obummer showed up for a few games & got everyone up in Cornvalley all excited, now they're realizing CRob really can't coach. Its amazing what DeCareless has done to their two main programs just for some attention & cheap money. Worst AD ever.

I would still say that Pac-10 teams should be weary of OSU. They have several embarrassing losses in the past few seasons OOC, then rebounded to post very respectable conference records. For whatever reason, their 1-3-1 seems to disrupt Pac-10 programs more than the small guys, although it does appear they miss Seth Tarver a great deal.

Montana did beat UCLA on the road so it's not really surprising that they beat OSU.

I didn't think they would be this bad, to lose to montana, george washington, texas southern I think (who we beat) and utah valley.

Re: OS continues to impress...
I would say they have more talent on their team than Oregon (due to having a full allotment of scholarship players) but they don't have the discipline and coaching to do anything with the talent.thomas time wrote:I didn't think they would be this bad, to lose to montana, george washington, texas southern I think (who we beat) and utah valley.
