Around .500. Youth isn't an excuse.

Agreed.

Even coach Munson got us SOME PAC-10 wins every season......

I know there are statistics out there for who the youngest team in the NBA is, with the Blazers being one of the youngest. Is there a similar database for the NCAA? I would be interested to see how other teams with "youth" problems are fairing.

I don't see anyway you can compare this team to what the Blazers have done. When they were given the title young developing team, they did very well for themselves going 41-41 and rattling off one of the longest winning streaks in franchise history. They did the right things played tough defense and for the most part ran a pretty good offense. but most of all the showed a heart and the desire to win. This team shows none of those qualities in every game that I have watched. If this were a parallel comparison, they would've had the worst record in the league last year, Nate would be kicked to the curb, and playoffs wouldn't even be in the discussion.

OK let me be frank, I didn't expect much out of this season... But how many of you would've picked at the beginning of the year this team to go 0-18?! I wouldn't have a problem if they were doing things that looked like they were really learning and getting better week in and week out. A young developing team would show games where they fought hard through the game and in the end the leadership and 'seniority' would come through in the closing minutes and that'd be the difference. Instead.. we just come out FLAT at every start, and to me that's on coaching. I'd be behind this team if they showed evidence of being well coached and making the right decisions but that just isn't the product being put on the court right now.

I agree with Robstu. It's not just about the wins and losses. Why can't we ever put two good halves together? Why aren't adjustments made? Why can't we ever get a defensive stop when we need it? Why can't we ever have a player make a clutch shot when it counts? A lot of it is the coaching. The play this season has been pathetic.
