Win the CBI, and the Ducks will have accomplished something very significant... The team will have won 21 games, this season.

IMO, that would be be worth it, as well as something to build on.
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

Congrats on the team to getting to a postseason tournament, none of that would've thought was possible before the year. The team earn it for sure with hard play and playing Dana's style.

Maybe we should turn down our bowl game next if we fail to make the BCS again?
That's just stupid

At least You have to have a winning record to get into a bowl game
What? Of course you don't.

Fact is, once upon a time an undeserving Oregon team bought their way into a bowl game, and it helped springboard the program forward. We, of all schools, should understand the significance of just getting to the postseason. There would literally be no benefit for turning down a CBI invitation. If we win a couple games and end up with 20 wins, Altman can sit in any recruit's living room and say, "We were picked to finish dead last in the Pac-10 and we ended up with a 20-win season. We're building a program and we're ahead of the curve, come help us out." You continue to perplex me.
