Anyway, there might be some tough sledding for BB if he chooses UT with Kiffin not being a proven commodity. Oregon's stability should be a plus for us.

My guess is that, at best, UT looks a lot like Michigan once Rich Rod took over. A team in limbo with fans and boosters asking each year how long do they give the new coach to "make a transition." By the time they get their sheeat together over there, Brown might be graduated.

I also think that Kiffin has backed himself into a corner with his antics. Fans are going to lose stomach for him much more quickly if he doesn't deliver on the field. Everyone who follows NCAA football knows about Kiffin's behavior and will howl with laughter if the team faulters. UT fans just won't want to take that for very long.

If he does go to Tennessee, he might transfer just like Onterio Smith.

If Bryce choose a school based on what school would earn him the highest draft spot, Oregon would most certainly be #1, with their offense.

Other than that logic, you know, what's best for his future, I see him going to Miami or LSU, simply because they are closer to home and that's what his family is pressuring him to do.

How UT ever got brought into the picture I don't know. Fact is, those recruiting sites, especially scout.com, are full of crap, they start rumors just to get people excited and to sell more temporary subscriptions. They always use an out like, "well this is my professional insider educated conclusion, however, in recruiting nothing is 100% certain."

I cancelled my temporary subscription with scout.com, after their 'best' recruiting analyst posted it was a 97.5% chance that Boyd was selecting Oregon the day before his announcement, contrary to media evidence and qoutes from family that Boyd was heavily leaning towards Clemson.

Until those kids announce, it's all speculation and nobody knows. We might as well just place odds at Vegas.

I have said for a long long time and with 5 days to go before he supposedly will be announcing I still say that we are competing with Miami.. andhis parents and fully believe that is where he will be going. Maybe the fans are bad there but Mike Shannon has produced 3 top 10 recruiting classes... and only a matter of time before you hear Miami in the midst of national championship talk. I am not a Miami fan by any means.. just look what they been doing recruiting wise and know they are probably our biggest team we face in the challenge of getting Bryce Brown .. that factored in with parents.. think it is a done deal.

I agree Chapelhillduck. Miami has been incredibly erratic in most phases of the game. When you watch them, they don't appear to have the soul or mindset of a winner.

UNC is definitely the ACC team on the upswing. Miami is stuck in the mud. Of course that doesn't mean he will or won't choose Miami. My point is that if he did, it wouldn't be because they are ready to win.

Who is this Mike Shannon character you guys speak of? The coach of Miami is Randy Shannon. UNC is going to be the cream of the ACC soon. I was also forced to watch a ton of ACC games living in North Carolina. Now that Miami has somewhat of a QB I think they have a chance to be decent again but not national championship contenders.

Miami is a mess. They do have some solid recruiting classes. But, you can only put 11 kids on the field at once and they don't look competitive at this point. Who knows how their new OC will turn out.

In addition to UNC, I think Virginia Tech is also far more consistent and competitive than Miami.

Miami shouldn't be mentioned here anymore. They have declared themselves out in so many words by coach Shannon himself.
Kiffen is probably telling Bryce right now if he comes to Oregon he'll be pumping gas for the rest of his life.

Comic relief! If Kiffin doesn't all of a sudden do a 180 with his personality, his tenure at UT will be short lived, leaving UT in ruins with likely NCAA sanctions.
