Get lucky? The Ducks have a knack for getting some good JC RB. I know I don't have to list them... If the Chip feels he needs a JC RB, he'll get one.duckgrad99 wrote:I like the idea of adding a JC running back. It would be tough to get lucky and get someone like Blount, but we need more experience at that position after this season. I also agree that we need a top qb.

He is a longshot. The Ducks are not even in his top 6 at this time. A lot of people expect him to stay close to home and pick Arkansas.stewbertwilloughby wrote:We keep saying we could take a bunch of RB's in this class, so I looked some up on Rivals. Anybody know our chances with Michael Dyer?

Wow, good call. For some reason I was thinking he was from Cali. I guess I had too many player profiles open at once.

That's right, they will be lucky to get a JC guy that turns out to be as good as Blount.

I'd drop Kohler and Owa though.. Owa will leave the state, and Kohler will go to a pac-10 school but my money is on ND or Stanford.Notre Dame is a PAC-10 School?

The Ducks need an influx of high school DT talent. Problem is, there seems to be a shortage of highly rated prospects, particularly out west.
The Ducks have also offered a lot of MLB prospects.
I would be surprised to if we take more than 1 OL, Hard to recruit against so much depth.
It would be nice to use Brown’s schollie for Metcalf. Put a need position, Safety into the system a year earlier, He looks like a good rover back if fast enough.
I’d like to try this list after Jr. day.

I'll be interested to see what my list looks like when the season starts. If I'm 50% close I'd say that's a decent list considering what stage of recruiting we are in and how early it is.
We have to get minimum 1 OL, likely 2.
DT is such a nightmare and UKO our main target has already said he plans on taking all his visits, it will be a while for him to pick his school it would appear.
Personally it would sure be nice to lock up 2 or 3 guys shortly after our Junior day coming up, really help the staff see what positions/players they should target more.
