I could have played at the JC level. But, chose not to "because I'm obviously not going to make the NFL."

Now, I really regret that decision. It's not just a career matter but an experience that you only have the option of having once. The kid has his reasons. I hope he doesn't regret the choice.

I still have a good feeling about Montgomery being a step-up guy at this position.

Celotto leaving definitely hurts, but we do have some quality JCs on the line right now that can step it up.

Found a interesting little tid-bit written about Bair a while back. Seems like he MIGHT be an up and comer this season. Only time will tell.

Maybe constantly having nagging injuries factored in as well. Did you read the litany of injuries this kid endured: staph infection of the leg, mono, ankle problems, etc? Yikes, the kid has gone through a lot. Of course, I don't know what he expects on the streets of LA. My father and brother both worked nights in North Portland on the gang enforcement team. That caused a few injuries for sure. I can still remember my dad coming home in what appeared to be a white bandaged turben after getting in a fight with a gold glove boxer on PCP. However, if the passion isn't there than it isn't worth it.
