I too am excited to see what Elliot will do if he can stay healthy, I also expect a big year for Wesley, more like he did his first year here.

I loved the picks of Leonard and Lillard, but all the moves that we have made since then have been questionable.

Signing Batum for 10+ million a year for 4 years?! Yikes! He'll never be more than a 3rd option on a good team and his defense is severely overrated.

ESPN.com has picked Damien Lilard second for rookie of the year behind Anthony Davis of course, I can't wait to see him with Wesley, Nic, Lamarcus and whoever else is our starting big. 2 more months until Lakers come to town on halloween!! Ime Udoka joins the spurs as an assisant coach which I think will be a good job for him to join a great organization, Martell Webster signs with the wizards also.

7 more weeks till the big laker home opener on halloween, less than a month (octomber 10th) for their first preseaon game. Bad news though Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports on Twitter that third-year Portland Trail Blazers guard Elliot Williams tore his left Achilles tendon on Tuesday.

Elliot Williams' injury will require surgery, although a date for that and a timeline on his return is unknown at this point.

The Blazers have confirmed the news in a press release.

It's quite possible, although obviously unconfirmed at this point, that this winds up as a season-ending injury. As the side note I'm really excited to see Wesley have a bounce back year and this will let us see what Barton has got.

Joe Freeman of The Oregonian reports on Twitter that free agent forward Adam Morrison will be invited to Portland Trail Blazers training camp on a one-year, non-guaranteed deal. Sam Amick of SI.com has also confirmed the terms of the deal.

Morrison is a proven winner, he's already got 2 rings. He's gonna bring us a title!

yuck, I can't stand Morrison. I can't stand either how Blazers fans wanted to draft him (dumb).

Trying to be mature about this but failing big time. I will not root for a team that has Adam Morrison on it.

lillard
matthews
batum
lma
hickson

stotts released his starting five. no real surprises.

really sucks about e-will. i thought he was in line for a breakout year. could have used that scoring punch off the bench. now our bench is what, nolan smith... leonard... freeland/claver.........

Half decent centers make 10 million a year. Look at centers who make 4-5 million a year

Johan Petro
zaza pachulia
jason maxiell
greg stiemsma
etc

Kwame Brown made 7 million last year. Plus we had to forfeit our MLE to make Hibbert an offer

Pryzbilla, Foster, Mohammed, they all make about 6-7 mill a year. Even one of them would be good! 2 can block very well, and one can rebound at an exceptional level. Just saying... We have 0.
