Embree out at Colorado?

Is anyone else sick of hearing about Embree being fired because he's an African American, and that if had nothing to do with them being terrible? I hear people saying Embree won't get another shot at a HC job, but Chizik will. Well no crap, one at least brought home a title and the other won 4 games ever. Chizik doesn't deserve another HC job either, but someone like ECU or UNLV will give him a shot and he will no doubgt get fired after 3 years there.

Any coach with Embree's record would never get another shot, black, Asia, Hispanic or white. It's about wins and loses, and Joker Philips won't get another HC job either. He took over a solid program for Brooks and now it's back to nothing. There are good black coaches who deserve a shot, but the media whining about guys getting fired is stupid. Any coach who did what these guys did would be gone as well. Wulff will never get another shot either.

Certainly didn't help when one of the most successful and influential coaches in CU history came out and said he was fired because he was black. I don't think race had any part of it either and seems to be a cop out. Any time anything bad happens to a minority, race becomes a factor. He got a raw deal, no doubt but it was a lose-lose situation for all involved with the CU athletic department.

Maybe he doesn't do well in high elevation areas?
