The humidity kind of sucks but its not the end of the world. The only real problem with living in North Carolina is the bugs, mosquitos are pretty bad here. Being an Oregonian and living in NC, only think I like better about the weather her is the winters. You have cold and snowy days but you also have ocassional warm days where its in the 70s or 80s. If the NC kids decide to play at Oregon I hope they are ready for the rain though. It does not rain here to the extent that it rains in Oregon.

I know it's not the end of the world, just saying that most kids love the change, especially when pads go on in fall. The rain is a huge misconception, did you know that none of the top 10 wettest cities in America are in the Northwest? They're actually all in the south. Sure it rains for a few months straight in the winter but the summers and fall are unbeatable the Willamette Valley.

Mannnn someone beat me to it. I was going to mention how am glad they did not visit in December or January. I never lived on east coast so can not compare the two. I am a native Oregonian and know how we barely see the sun those 2 months. Do not get me wrong I think Oregon is a beautiful state. The facts are the facts though. As far as the wettest days or wettest places are coorect that the pacific northwest does not hold either. Parts of Alaska get over 200 inches of rain per year. They measure their rain in feet up there. Oregon pales in comparison. I would love to get these top guys. Just imagine getting these 2 from NC along with another top RB would be the start of a very nice class of recruits as long as they all make it here.

The clear negative for Oregon weather is the number of gray days. People here in Charlotte get antsy when the sun isn't out for four consecutive days. That doesn't happen very often by the way.

I would imagine ALL of these guys will be watching. If we could pull of a 08 Civil War type of performance, the electricity... IMO their disire to be plugged into such a team would skyrocket. WE NEED to show up big for that game. First impression type of senerio as we are practically the first game of the entire season and the world will be watching. It may end up being the big turning point for a lot these fence sitters - one way or the other.

Totally Agree... This is one of the most important games of the year, the start of football when everyone is super excited, on national stage with no competition, the country and most of the recruits the Ducks are going after will be watching. If Oregon can put on a game like the civil war or the Holiday bowl last year, that will be an enormous benefit for recruiting.
