I believe he could make a sales pitch to an Eskimo but I don't know if he could sell it yet. Has he swayed anyone yet? He sure isn't afraid to throw offers out there and I love the enthusiasm but let's see who he actually lands before we anoint him the greatest recruiter of all time.
I was just thinking the same thing. I love what he's doing, but it's not like we haven't gone after high profile guys before. Offering and landing are two different things. My gut feeling is that he is going to close on more guys than we have in the past. But until he does that may just be my optimism talking. One thing we all need to be careful on: if he does miracles with this class great. But as hard as he is trying, this cycle is almost done. I'm just saying we need to not judge him too much on this class. We may be asking too much.
I'm an Eskimo and I would buy ice from him!
I get what your saying and you have a valid point. I also think judging his recruiting off this year would be rediculous. I can't wait to see what he can land with a full years prep.

Re-issued the offer? I wonder if it was just re-issued or if Tryon is just now tweeting about it? Does this mean he revoked everyone's offer and is deciding whom he wants to re-issue it to?

It will be announced at Autzen press conference tomorrow afternoon!

They offered before the staff transition, and I think WT sent a reaffirmation of that offer. If you look at his tweet on twitter it links to his previous tweet proclaiming his offer the first time.
Correct. There are rumors that guys like Moses Robinson-Carr not having their offer honored and that is why he switched. If you can call it a switch when you don't have an offer. I do not have solid facts here, just rumor.
