It's kind of dumb, petty reason to stop watching the NFL altogether.
I could probably give 10 reasons for the eye roll. Kluwe didn't get released for his advocating some political agenda item, although he certainly made a donkey out of himself in the process.
He got released because they could get a younger, less annoying version of him for cheaper. Kluwe then proceeded to sign in Oakland for the veteran's minimum, but still got released before the season started. You know those people down there in the Bay Area are very homophobic. Maybe you should stop watching them too. In fact, anyone who didn't sign Kluwe afterwards is homophobic. I can understand why someone wouldn't want to watch the whole NFL. Totally legit reason. So glad you brought it up in this thread.

Eh. I don't agree. I mean, I didn't stop watching but I agree with his sentiment. If he wants to stop watching then more power to him.
I stopped watching because it got boring.
Same here. It's like every team is running a slight variation of the same offensive and defensive schemes with the main difference being the talent levels they have to run them. Also, I've got no emotional investment in any one team like I do the Ducks.
That's cool. I'm still wondering why you felt the need to share your decision-making in a thread about a prospective tight end. We're all just in a state of wonderment today, I guess.

While I'm sure a thread detailing your political views against the NFL will doubtless be an instant classic on a site primarily devoted to a college football team, I think you more or less missed the point. I wanted less of your politics, not more.
Anyway, I appreciate the OP linking the Oregonian article. It seems funny to me that a tight-end from Mississippi with SEC offers really wants to be a duck without even an offer, but it is said so often that we only want guys who want to be here. Hopefully he gets a serious look.

He probably sees that fact the Oregon traditionally used their TEs a lot and has placed a good string of them in the NFL. Things will be different with the new staff but I'm sure they'll use the TEs somehow.
