In many ways, OSU and WSU have messed up any chance of creating a decent Conference and they are now probably relying/wishing that Cal and Stanford will be able to mutually leave the ACC in a few years to be able to get them back to whatever minor SW school they'll add. The coffin hasn't been closed on them just yet, but its close.
