Good chance for a split Pac-12 title next season.

The Pac 2 doing what they need to do to survive and return, good for them!

Actually they haven't, they and the Mountain West now have 7 teams and the Pac only has 1 more year to get back to 8 members (MWC has 2 years now) or risk losing its status, which is likely to happen anyways.

In many ways, OSU and WSU have messed up any chance of creating a decent Conference and they are now probably relying/wishing that Cal and Stanford will be able to mutually leave the ACC in a few years to be able to get them back to whatever minor SW school they'll add. The coffin hasn't been closed on them just yet, but its close.
