Final score 42-17 after a late garbage TD for Tennessee. As impressive as Ohio State was Tennessee was unimpressive. The committee should be under fire for this bracket as there has yet to be a close and exciting game.

Indiana with the closest game and an SEC team with the worst loss, just like everybody predicted.

This is funny. If you go on the OSU boards they despise KH. They feel he doesn’t give OSU enough love and is an OSU hater.Everythingsducky wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2024 9:00 pm Is Herbie going to cover every Buck game this year? Hard to believe they didn’t keep him in Eugene for the earlier matchup. Homerism, even feigned, is at its high point. Unbelievable ABC/ESPN has him on almost every Buck game. You can guarantee he will be at it again at the Rose Bowl.

One silver lining of this result is that it shut Lane Kiffen up. Hey Lane, the team that beat Alabama just got boat raced by the Big 10 third place team.

I wish I could find the tweet again, but essentially even in the 4-team playoff era, most of the games were blowouts.OregonFan4Life wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2024 9:47 pm Final score 42-17 after a late garbage TD for Tennessee. Adding more teams was only going to make that more likely to occur so ESPN wondering how the committee got it wrong is so asinine - This is what ESPN wanted when they expanded the playoff and contracted the conferences.

Interesting tweet on the difference's between the last 2 defenses the buckeyes played. When you schedule a lot of RPO plays the Defense can force teams to R/P based on the box and alignment. I think it was hytholday who brought up a few weeks ago how some teams have done the same against us (leveraging the pre-snap look) in order to get us to run the ball.

That works if you can stop what you’re baiting the offense into doing.Duck07 wrote: Sun Dec 22, 2024 8:40 amInteresting tweet on the difference's between the last 2 defenses the buckeyes played. With all the talk of Tenn. great D-line this is exactly what I thought would happen. A tough battle in the trenches with the edge going to the Tenn. D-line because of OSU’s beat up O-line. In reality UT’s D-line was way overrated and flat out got their ass handed to them, forcing them to play man or zone with 8/9 in the box and they still couldn’t stop the run. Combine that with an at best average secondary with poor tackling and #4, RB’s and that TE have a great day.
