My prediction is that this will be just like @ Stanford in 2023. Weird start, ass kicking 2nd half.
That sucks because the score of that game was 42-6 and I took the over 48.5 earlier in the week.

I wonder with the new defensive alignment and the LB’s spread out so much if it’s just harder for them to cover the gap on run plays.

Why can’t we get the Northwestern team that showed up against Tulane?

It's painful listening to Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt. These guys are creaming their pants over Northwestern. Was half expecting them to comment on how that was the most impressive fumble leading to an 18 yard loss that they've ever seen.

Nice sack by Matayo. Another defensive stop.

Northwestern is selling out for the run and they don’t have the horses to keep up with our receivers. I’m really confused by Stein force feeding the RB’s.

That's what I'm talking about. Ducks open up the 17-point lead with the long drive capped by the Sadiq TD.

So Fox's silly Tom Brady commercial just came true as Moore rips the seam to Sadiq, lol

Pretty favorable outcome for the first half. Northwestern has had two pretty nice drives killed by a deflection pick and a fumble. Otherwise, the score would look a lot different. Nice to see the offense figure it out - Sadiq is such a great option to loosen things up. Our ace in the hole. Dante Moore is looking great so far, glad the head hit didn't injure him.

A safety on Sadiq is an unfair matchup haha!
I’m curious to see what second half adjustments Oregon makes. I’m sure Lanning isn’t happy with the first half performance, even though they held Northwestern to 0.

I have lots of thoughts about the first half and our slow start. First road game, 9 am start, banged up player….. but it is all speculation on y part. I do thinks the Ducks will turn it on in the second.

I know he’s going through a rough time, but boy Jackson is just so off and delayed in diagnosing plays. He clearly has his mind elsewhere and nobody can blame him for that.
