We are literally going to have to hope Cignitti has compassion and doesn't run this up to 66-10 territory.

My biggest annoyance is when fans switch up and turn on guys at the first sign of adversity. In one half of football, fans have gone from hoping Moore comes back to pushing him out the door. I’ve also seen posts questioning Lanning’s ability to coach now. It’s just insufferable. A team plays a shitty half of football and supposed fans completely turn on them. It’s ok to be frustrated, but giving up on guys because of a shitty game is annoying.

The lack of success with blitzing CB or LB is still haunting the defense this year. They seem to just run into blocks.

And maybe I'd believe that if you didn't keep providing evidence to contrary.Bigwaved wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 7:40 pmTrust me when I say I do not care what you think about me.wepto wrote:If you actually didn't care you wouldn't be posting like clockwork in every game thread the goes sideways.Bigwaved wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 7:32 pmIf you think I care what you think, good for you.wepto wrote:None of which you contribute to. Outside of the game thread dumpster fire over reactions, there is some rational and sane conversation.wepto wrote:

That is my point. It comes across as as irrational.droop10 wrote:My biggest annoyance is when fans switch up and turn on guys at the first sign of adversity. "Sure beating Penn State in double OT is fun and pulling out a close victory over Iowa and shutting out Tech, but it’s been a glaring issue all season that our offense does not execute in big games, and that hasn’t been fixed. These 3 turnovers never would happen to a team that executes well, and this is the 15th game of the season, not 2nd. At this point in the season the execution issues are unforgivable."
Yeah. I would have prefered looking around a bit more before deciding on the new OC as well. It certainly seems to suggest Dan overall is happy with the structure of the offense. Trying to look at it as optimistically as possible, Mehringer does come with a bit more of a reputation of being a hard a_s. Maybe Stein overall is just nice and doesn't push hard enough for consistant strong execution? More worried about drawing up stuff than nailing down a core. The errors on offense, all season really, have stood out.

Another Mendoza fumble that just happens right back to the only Indiana player around. Obviously doesn’t matter much at this long, but the fumble luck couldn’t be any worse.

I wish game threads did more of that and less of pointing fingers at coaches and players.wepto wrote:Oh hey, you made a post about football. Man Tosh is calling plays exactly as what Indiana would want. We desperately need to upgrade at coordinator and Lanning has the opportunity to.Bigwaved wrote:I wish game threads did more of that and less of pointing fingers at coaches and players.wepto wrote:Oh hey, you made a post about football. This score could literally be worse than last years Ohio State game. I dunno what to think, but Lanning..................blown out in both games. This isn't even close. Two years in a row.

The Indiana fans don't even bother to get out their seat when they score anymore this is so easy. Totally embarassing.
